The spiritual significance of Beeswax

The virgin worker bees dedicate their lives to the creation of this wax and represent Our Blessed Lady, the Virgin Mother who gave birth to Christ. The pure beeswax also represents Christ's pure Flesh

“The wax, being spotless, represents Christ’s most spotless Body; the wick enclosed in it is an image of His Soul, while the glowing flame typifies the Divine Nature united with the human in one Divine Person.”

Early Church Father

The physical Blessings of pure beeswax

Beeswax candles burn hotter than candles made from other waxes which means they put out more "negative ions" than candles made from other waxes. The negative ions circulate in the room, attracting and neutralizing pollutants, (positive ions). Negative ions are nature's air purifiers, cleaning the air of dust, mold, bacteria, viruses, and other pollutants. What we have found is that after burning several beeswax candles in the same room for a few hours the air has a fresh, clean feeling which can be likened to the atmosphere after a Spring rain; odors seem to dissipate and the air feels "lighter".
